Bulahdelah has many activities on offer to tempt you to stay here longer. The Bulahdelah Show and Rodeo is held in November each year, with many attractions and stalls to keep you and the family entertained and intrigued. The Alum Mountain is believed to have the largest known above ground deposits of Alunite and Potassium in the southern hemisphere! If you a keen bushwalker the mountain has walking tracks leading to lookouts with views of lakes, oceans and forests and also provides two picnic ground facilities. The Myall Lakes area also has a plethora of walking trails that wind through the national park. They range from easy 2km walks to more challenging 11km walks. Camp sites are situated along the lake shores. If you are keen to paddle the river offers a tranquil setting for canoe enthusiasts. Getaway House Boats are a great way to discover the river and lake system. Hire a houseboat, a cruiser or runabout and explore the beautiful Myall River all the way to the breakwater at Tea Gardens. The hotel can provide provisions. Great Lakes Wines is situated a short drive on the wine trail heading north.
